The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for taking care of all marketing and external communication aspects at ECCRT. It entails working with management on external communication, marketing, and branding of the organisation. Organisation of events and attendance to conferences are also part of the job. In addition, the job holder will be involved with management of client relations and involvement of business development activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Coordination of marketing and external communication (70%)
·        Work with management and vendors on marketing strategies

·        Website Maintenance and SEO optimization

·        Creating monthly newsletters

·        Developing an engaging social media voice and presence

·        Creating flyers, course schedules, prospectuses and any other marketing material that is suitable for the marketing strategy

·        Manage marketing campaigns for courses and course programmes

·        Keep the ECCRT CRM database up to date

·        Attend conferences & organise events

Business Development Assistance (20%)

·       Preparation of commercial proposals

·       Preparation of client presentations

·       Contact (potential) clients

Assist with special projects with management (10%)

Tools and documentation

·        Update electronic timesheets in ExactOnline

·        Ensure documented quality control

·        Enter all client contacts and info in the ECCRT CRM system

·        Use Survey Monkey to send out the newsletter

·        ECCRT social media accounts

·        Use of Adobe Suite for flyers and any visual content


·        Develop and maintain good professional relationships with past, current, and potential clients of ECCRT

·        Participation in G meetings, Programme Committees, Trainers Forum, and other meetings as required

·        Problem-solving for questions or concerns related to training from customers

·        Regular communication via website, social media, and e-mail campaigns

Degree & Experience Knowledge & Skills


·        Excellent communication skills, experience in similar positions

·        Experience of at least 1-4 years

·        Preferable experience in the field of life science environment


·        Have insights in the training needs for clinical research professionals

·        Customer & service oriented

·        Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch and French is an advantage)

·        Detail oriented and work in an organised manner

·        Good IT knowledge and skills (MS Suite, Adobe Suite, Survey Monkey, WordPress, SEO knowledge)

·        Capacity to plan, set priorities and manage time

·        Work independently to a high standard

·        Personal qualities: motivated, reliable, innovative, creative
